Sarah Bonnell School goes DIGITAL!

The Sarah Bonnell Language College located in Stratford, East London, was founded in 1769 and is one of the oldest schools for girls in the country. It currently has 174 staff members and 1,200 pupils. With the help of CSUK, staff members have improved their ability to communicate with each other using the new Motorola DP3400 licensed digital radios.

Old licence free radio system became unreliable

CSUK was contacted by the school to provide a solution to their existing radio system of 50 license free radios that were proving unreliable due to their lack of coverage and clarity of voice calls. CSUK provided various analogue and digital trial radios for the school to test, resulting in finding a solution with the Motorola MOTOTRBO DP3400 digital radio. The radio improved both coverage on-site and the clarity of calls was significantly better than with the existing license free radios. This improved the efficiency of their patrol staff and assistants. The Motorola DP3400 digital radio also offers superior in-building coverage in comparison with analogue radios, while its enhanced audio quality enables users to communicate in busy areas of the school with a lot of background noise.
